Dr. Qiaozhi ZHANG
Research Fellow
Dr. Zhang Qiaozhi obtained BEng and MEng degrees from the Dalian University of Technology, and PhD degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research focuses on biomass waste valorization, microwave-assisted reactions, biochar catalysts, etc. She has published 20+ journal articles in top journals including Green Chemistry, Bioresource Technology, and ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering. She also serves as a peer reviewer for Journal of Hazardous Materials, Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, etc.
LI Zhuo
Ph.D. candidate
Li Zhuo is a Ph.D. candidate at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in environmental engineering from Wuhan University, China, in 2020 and 2023, respectively. Guided by a passion for research and innovation, Zhuo is committed to biomass harvesting by integrating microalgae technology with thermochemical processing.
Yudha Dwi Prasetyatama
Ph.D. candidate
Currently, I am PhD student in Environmental Engineering working under the supervision of Dr. Bae Sung Woo and Dr. Iris Yu from Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore. I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemical engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, in 2012 and 2014 respectively. My current research interests are focused on bio-oils production from microwave-assisted pyrolysis (MAP) of biomass.
